The Program on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Benin - Bhutan - Costa Rica, which is developed with the funding from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, through the Program of South-South Cooperation and managed  by the SDS in Bhutan, this project aims is to enhance energy security and poverty alleviation through public-private partnerships in Benin, Bhutan and Costa Rica.

The Project is expected to create awareness on the availability and the benefits of sustainable and renewable energy technologies, importance of energy conservation and efficient use of energy in the SDA member countries. This lack of awareness leads to perception of RETs and energy efficient technologies are expensive and as a consequence discourage adoption of such technologies. Therefore, awareness programs on sustainable energy technology are to be undertaken.

In this web page you will find relevant information on the project’s activities and the implementing agencies. Renewable Energy, Energy Eficiency and other topics will be discussed and shared in this online platform for knowledge dissemination.
